How to scrap metal "Time and Space"

How to Scap Metal

You will need space for you scraping operation how much space is up to you.  You can make a tidy sum with four 5 gallon buckets in your basement if you have a little time.  As with most things scrap is worth more in parts than as a whole.  Take a bucket of scrap copper pipe, most of it will be short lengths with fittings on them.  The solder at the joints makes the whole bucket pay #2 copper price if you cut off the clean pipe and put it in a seperate bucket you get paid #1 copper price for the clean.
A bucket full of insulated wire such as old extention cords, computer wires, etc..(no CATV wire) will make you about $20 and a bucket full of electic motors will net you the same.  So if you have the time to dismantel an old sweeper or an old washer you will find your buckets filling up rather quickly.
So Buck it Up....
